The government you deserve...

It is said: "...people have the goverment they deserve." If this is the case humanity is headed for collapse.

Is it me, or do the latest batch of rulers seem particularly kooky to you?

President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad: Have the clerics banned neckties along with everything else? Maybe they felt you weren't gettin enough oxygen to you head as it is. You are a stooge. Everyone can see it and if you look hard enuff you can see the puppet strings.

President of Venezuela Hugo Chavez: Another one of these kooks! Really? A red huayavera shirt? Really? Sure keep gas subsidized maybe the people in your country will forget about their abject poberty and the rising crime rate. You want nukes now too? Talk about living in the dream world!

Failed Presidental candidate for Mexico Manuel Lopez Obrador. You have given the meaning of the term "Sore Loser" a whole new meaning. Not only that, now you really look like a nut and people who supported you are starting to be grateful that you didn't win. Word on the street is that you will form a parallel goverment and wear a sash! How about a crown to go with it? Your comparisons to Benito Juarez are ludicrous! Guess what? No one is voting for you in 6 years.

Our own President. Really? This guy? 300+ Million Americans and this is the guy we have.
No more need be said...

Good bye Filo...

Excellent story by Valley Politico. Draw your own conclusions!
These people need to be run out of town, if not behind bars.

She obviously didn't care about the teachers or students. Just your greedy motives.

"Follow Walo" out of here...

A story in today's The Monitor chronicles the travails of Constable Precinct 5 Walo Bazan. Is this guy serious? He changes his story several times. Trying to see which one would stick Walo? His trial was yesterday, guess who's his attorney? None other than Al Alvarez who claimed political persecution A.K.A. the "Omar Guerrero defense".

"You don’t have to get creative to steal something; you either steal it or you didn’t," Alvarez said. "My client is a public servant that the district attorney doesn’t like. This is political."

Al, maybe you should stop taking these "hard luck" cases, you don't look too good, then again who would represent these bozos?

Now, Walo's case "coincidentally" fell in Judge Rudy Delgado's court. This happened using Omar Guerrero's M&M glass bowl. What a convenient coincidence. The last paragraph of the story amazes me even more, judge for yourself:

"Bazan is facing a separate criminal indictment in connection with the case, on charges that he falsified the documents. That case is pending before state District Judge Rodolfo "Rudy" Delgado, who has been on paid suspension since February 2005 on a felony indictment relating to a 2002 drunken driving arrest.
Alvarez also represents the judge in that matter. "
Something smells real bad. What a coincidence that all these gentlement are all in the same political current, fortunatley they're all on their way out. Dang!

Something smells rotten...

Enter Carol Montes. Self proclaimed watch dog for all things wrong with Hidalgo County. During her weekly rants during Commissioner's Court Open Forum; Carol brings up some interesting points and some of her obvervations are on target or are a reflection of questions we've asked ourselves. I also admire her bravado and guile. BUT...

I have a small problem with Ms. Montes! You see, Carol Montes is the sister of Ramon Garcia's secretary at the County office. So all her rants and raves are being fed to her by guess-who's office. There is no research, no backup to her allegations, the worst part is she is not consistent in her critism. Carol, I have some advice for you: Look behind you. The people egging you on are abusing the system so much worse than the ones you critize...

Son of a...

Preacher man? Well folks, if you thought you'd seen it all think again. Turns out our illustrious District Clerk, Omar Guerrero, has found religion. Albeit slowly, but surely he realized what a freak he looked like with this IFA worship. Which I suspect was never true, it was more the thing "pot heads" say to the cops to not get tested. Now Mr. Guerrero struts around the Courthouse (when he's there) in a full suit, praising the Lord in every other sentence.
Omar, will you ever learn? We we not fooled before, we won't be fooled again. What you need to do is open up another book, a schoolbook and get cracking. Maybe then you'll make a positive change in your life. Good luck Omar!

I'm watching you!

For you the Joe Ochoa's of the world. Who think you can bring in your cronies, your compadres without anyone doing anything about it, think again. Times have changed!
